Piggys Cakes

Our love of making cakes began a few years ago after seeing Ian’s parents build a successful home business and being fascinated with watching them create many beautiful cakes and sugar flowers.
Since then, we have just made cakes for family and friends and have been learning new techniques and now feel ready to take it to the next level.
And so PIGGYS was born.
The name for our business came from a family nickname. My youngest brother always calls my sister & I ‘Piggy’ or ‘Piglet’ and its just seemed to fit. Something cute, funny, memorable and fitting for a family business. Its also a bit cheeky and something that springs to mind for some after they have had a ‘naughty treat’ such as a cake or dessert ;-).
