In 1992 Ruprecht von Haniel-Niethammer purchased Piermont Estate with a simple vision, to create a place where people can relax and feel at one with nature again. For all to enjoy in privacy a place where one can simply be calm whilst surrounded by Tasmania's natural beauty.

All aspects in the creation of Piermont, from choosing the property, the planning, design and construction have revolved around the objective of keeping ecology, health and comfort in mind.

Piermont Accommodation consists of fifteen self-contained Cottages and six Suites built using the highest quality natural materials.
