Welcome to my page!! .. It's pretty much just that.
I'm not really doing this as a business...yet.
It's just a hobby that I always loved since a teen, but was never very good at it..at all. True story!
It has really only been in the last year or so that I've felt I can say, I am capable to take and create some.. decent, and even good quality images now.
I have never felt I've been good at anything..or had a natural talent throughout my life. I don't think... anyway. I always wanted to do creative things, but gave up quickly on most things growing up.

Back in 2003, I starting work with Kodak as an Assistant Manager for a busy processing store in Eastgardens in Sydney. And then a bit later I became Store Manager for a less busy store at Bondi Junction. I loved it! It was demanding.. But I've just always been so interested in Photos and..creating them, how they're created..and why, the stories and meanings behind them!! They are memories of times that were usually good, or of someone that you love. They can be of something beautiful in the world..that creates a feeling of peace or joy, or awe!
However, I like to use all sorts of expression in photography..and sometimes I express things I feel which aren't always joyful at all. Or maybe considered different, weird, depressing. A bit like me.
I have anxiety disorders, depression and new diagnoses of ADHD.
Sometimes it literally is too hard to focus!!
And partially why I am only doing this as a hobby for now.
I have many ideas for if I do ever..make them happen :P

I have most recently worked for a Photography studio as an assistant, that was in my local area.
I learnt a fair bit about the post processing process, and this was probably what I did most there, but definitely not limited to it. But boy did I do some solid screen staring for hours on end..sorting, and editing, learning photoshop without much use of it before. Only terribly self taught disasters from years back :D

I started learning also about my camera more in 2012, and how to use it without it being on auto or P settings all the time..and what certain features are..and what they meant, or can do.
I've started attempting to use full Manual mode most of the time now (unless in a panic/hurry) since mid 2014. And just mucking around and experimenting with light to get all sorts of different results.
I've not known how to use my camera to the best of its or my ability, and am still learning each time I pick it up.

I am used to over compensating with photoshop to adjust and create a good photo. But It can be very time consuming for a perfectionist that doesn't really know what she's doing :)
So yeah... I'm basically just here.. on this page and hoping to share some of the photos I've taken as a first step..towards.. who knows!
I..do have a couple of online stores that I haven't ..really sorted out yet. But I'm hoping to one day maybe feel confident and capable of..doing something more.
