Petlyn Park Alpacas

Our herd now consists of 160 breeding animals and is steadily growing. Our concentration has always been on coloured huacaya, though we now run a small suri herd as well. We aim to consistently breed for soft handling fleeces with low micron and low SD, while not undermining fleece weight. We like mid sized alpacas supporting a good depth of frame and conformationally correct. We started with black and grey animals and have now branched into the the fancies/appaloosa, because of their unique colours and markings.
All of our alpacas are named and are a large part of our family life. Getting to know each and every one of them is something we both enjoy
