Clinical Holistic Nutrition providing private nutrition consults to clients, using food as medicine to help and educating to select beneficial foods and dietary choices for their needs. Consultations are necessary for more complex cases and to identify underlying causes of conditions rather than treatment of symptoms only. Individualized holistic treatment plans for each clients to help rebalance their body homeostasis, emotional status and lifestyle for optimal health and wellbeing.
Having worked in areas of food industry, medical research, child care, aged care personal care and organisation providing'meals on wheels' this extended knowledge of food processing, researching techniques and pathophysiology and disease conditions, as well as issues faced by all ages.

Raising three children enhanced my knowledge of family life challenges and food issues, food intolerances and allergies, even personal dealings with anaphylaxis. My work experience with children and the elderly as well as 11 years dealing with public needs in the health food shop has given me a depth of knowledge and awareness very beneficial in supporting clients at various stages of life and health issues.

Assisting newly diagnosed clients with the practicalities of elimination diets, food sensitivities, intolerances or allergies and dietary disorders are areas I can provide great support. Dietary restrictions need to be monitored to address nutritional support requirements.

I am constantly sourcing and researching natural foods and ingredients for 'food as medicine' properties believing in 'we are what we eat' impacting tremendously on our quality of life and well being.
