Peel Zoo

Peel Zoo is a boutique, hands-on zoo, in a lush setting on the banks of the Murray River. What makes Peel Zoo really unique is the ‘hands-on experience’ you get here. Hand feed the animals, hold a snake, pat a fox, tickle a ferret... There are well over 100 species of birds and animals that will capture your imagination: koalas, wombats, bettongs, exotic birds, reptiles, bengal cats, spotted quolls, possums, owls... The huge walk-through aviary and Tasmanian Devils are star attractions.

Bring a hamper and take advantage of our FREE BBQ facilities. The Zoo is so tranquil, it’s actually therapeutic.

Peel Zoo is an awesome location for school camps, excursions, and children’s parties. Their new nocturnal tours are truly amazing. And if you can’t make it to the Zoo, ask about ourZoo2U mobile reptile display.

Peel Zoo is only 10 minutes from Mandurah and 1 hour from Perth. It’s just off Pinjarra Road, behind the Pinjarra Golf Club.

The Zoo is open daily from 10:00am to 4:00pm weekdays, and 9:00am to 5:00pm weekends, public and school holidays.
