About us: Late 2015 Karlie Irwin created Pay It Forward Community Shed. The business was first started out of her garage. With community support and encouragement its so heart warming that within six (6) months the business has grown so much attention and great team members that they have moved into a universal site. 'Pay It Forward' is now located at 83 Glenroi Avenue, with a $2 pop - up shop, and a large shed out the back containing a selection of goods including, clothing, kitchenware furniture and white goods. As if this isn't enough, They are now developing a new service for formal and wedding attire, for struggling families to hire at an extremely fantastic price.

What is Pay It Forward?
Pay it forward is a community focused program to help assist local community members in the event of serious crisis, those suffering severe financial hardship, lower income families and those in need.

What do we do?
Pay it forward community shed offers support through a donation system. The pay it forward community shed team relocates donated items at no cost back into the local community to members in need.

How do we operate?
Pay It Forward is strictly a not for profit community program, it’s all a part of paying it forward to others in need. The program runs events and auctions to generate small donations to keep the program running.

All staff affiliated with Pay It Forward are non-paid volunteers.

Our aim: Our aim is to continue to grow and develop community programs to assist and support local community members in need.

Pay it forward offers support and assistance to all local members in the community. Members are able to access the pay it forward community shed directly through our location or alternatively through our Facebook website.

Karlie and her team at Pay It Forward Community Shed think that they are unique in understanding the needs of the community. Some team members have worked in community services for over 20 years and feel as though they have a need to give to their community.
