Paula on Better Caring

Welcome to a new style of independent home care worker! My name is Paula and I am a qualified PCA with certificates in Home & Community Care and Aged Care, as well as First Aid / CPR.

I am currently employed by an aged care organization in Drouin as a personal carer, whilst I establish my new venture as "more than a PCA" in the home care sector, in the Latrobe Valley community.... where I now reside.

I live here with my husband and fur-kids after moving to the LV area in 2016. We are life long Gippsland locals from Drouin. My husband is a fresh produce manager for one of Coles local stores.

I also have a number of other certificates and life experiences ranging from Hairdressing & Hospitality / Food Safety to Animal Care, Real Estate and Admin / Office work. There are so many areas that I have skills in and I want to share those skills around to help others.
Eg: Use of power tools, home renovating ideas, trailer towing, animal husbandry and pet care.... Then there are the creative sides that i dabble in.... such as website design, photography, writing and interior design. I also show dogs and alpacas as my hobby.
