Over 40 years ago Russell and Winton Patton began their butchering career in the Queen Victoria Markets of Melbourne. They continued opening Butcher shops in Moonee Ponds, Preston Markets and various other locations over the years before making the move to Queensland some 20 years ago. After running a successful butcher shop in Toowoomba, Russell and Sharon Patton and their family relocated to the Sunshine Coast, opening Patton’s Discount Meats in Warana in 2005.

Today the business remains family owned and operated by Jason and Tracey Patton, being voted Best Butcher on the Sunshine Coast both in 2007 and 2011. The award winning products are 100% Australian and produced in store using only the freshest of hormone and steroid free meat products and the highest quality ingredients with excellent one on one customer service.
