Rebecca Cook of Pathways Naturopathy in Guildford has a passion for enabling her clients to be the best they can through better health and wellbeing. Guiding her clients each step of the way on their path to wellness.
Rebecca graduated from Paramount College of Natural Health with a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy, an Advanced Diploma in Naturopathy and receiving the Dux award for Advanced Diploma in Naturopathy as well as the Award for Excellence in Nutrition, along with a Certificate IV in Massage. She also holds a Diploma in Biochemic Medicine. Rebecca is regularly attending seminars to update her knowledge and will constantly research new ideas.
She he uses Herbal medicine, Nutritional supplementation, Dietary adjustment, Homeopathy, Sanum Isopathic medicine, Massage, Reiki, Flower Essences and Mind/Body medicine.
Each treatment protocol is individualised to the client and can encompass any of the above treatment methods. With emphasis being on the client’s participation in the healing journey and the link between the mind and dis-ease states, she finds this empowering for the client and that it leads to greater success.
She has a particular interest in Autoimmune disorders, Adrenal Fatigue, Thyroid, Allergy and Gastro Intestinal problems, however she has treated many other health concerns successfully.
Naturopathy
Naturopathy looks at the cause of disease and aims at treating that rather than merely addressing symptom relief. A detailed case history looking at each body system involved is taken. It is for this reason that Initial consultations are usually 1 1/2hrs in duration and remedies may not be prescribed in the first consultation depending on how complex the case is.
