Ursula has a background as a successful eventing rider (European Champion with the German team), a qualified 'Pferdewirtschaftsmeister' (equal to level 3 Coach on the international scale) and a German-qualified Vet. These useful skills make Paradise Stud Equestrian Centre a versatile and busy place. Since commencing Paradise Stud, Ursula has also hosted many successful school training camps.

Ursula has produced many excellent purebred Hanoverian foals in her short time breeding in Australia. The first two horses bred by her in Australia were sold overseas: an excellent showjumper went to New Zealand and an outstanding dressage horse went to the USA, successfully competing and winning numerous championships.

Recently Ursula sold a top eventer to Sydney as well as a superb dressage horse to a Sydney Grand Prix Rider. Moreover numerous horses were sold locally to dressage and eventing riders.

The Equestrian Centre was established in 1995 in the beautiful Samson Valley, hence Samsonvale, just 35 min. drive from the CBD Brisbane. The Centre specializes in coaching competition riders for Dressage, Show-jumping and Cross Country events at all levels. While training, both the rider AND the horse are cared for.
