The Palm Creek Folk Festival is an annual event held in June, in the lush tropical grounds of the Mountain View Lake Eco Park, 40km south of Townsville, North Queensland and hosted by the Townsville Folk and Acoustic Music Club (www.facebook.com/groups/townsvillefolk/).
The event takes place over four days and three nights involving more than 100 performers and events with concerts, dances, workshops, acoustic jams, youth festival, art and craft workshops and special events. The Festival features the cream of local performers and special national guests.
