When my period first arrived at an early age, I was congratulated for becoming a woman... until recently I had yet to really enjoy that moment.

Mum gave me a choice, pads or tampons... that was my choice... not really a choice I knew anything about.

I've constantly looked for ways to soften that monthly meeting... wine, chocolate, peppermint choc chip ice cream.... these helped ease that moment but there was still no fun, no congratulatory moment, no choice.

I created Paisley Pads to help make this moment about me. By using soft fabrics and funky prints and a product that is eco friendly helped take that moment back, it gave me back my choice. It's no longer about pads or tampons, it's about what I want, it's about me and my needs.

Periods are different for everyone, we're not all the same... different flow, different stylistic needs. Let's make things as individual as we all are.
