Having been born and raised in a small country town in Central West of NSW I loved the freedom and experience living in the bush could provide.

Growing up in the country enabled me to get familiar with the outdoors and most of my weekends were spent bow hunting, spotlight shooting, fishing and camping on the riverbank…. What more could a man ask for?

In my early 30’s my family and I relocated to the beautiful South Coast. We started a very successful furniture importing business where we imported directly from the manufacturers and developed long standing relationships with our suppliers and manufacturers, which is very important. Forming strong relationships result in the end products being of very high standards, but in a price range that was affordable for the end user. We had a 1000 square metre showroom and by our ninth year, we were turning over in excess of $1.5M in a regional area in a typical bricks and mortar business with no online sales presence.

After a recent visit back to the Country catching up with the Boys I grew up with, on the river bank. We were all “shooting the breeze” about just how expensive it is to purchase brand name hunting and outdoor equipment and accessories…

Enter - Oztreme Outdoor & Hunting. I decided to use my expertise and contacts that I developed in our previous business to establish my own brand of hunting equipment to the online market, who are looking for “value for money”. The key to any successful business for both the operator and the customer is to provide excellent quality products at an affordable price and to give outstanding service and commitment to our clients and customers alike. Because we are the “importer” we cut out the “middle man”. We can provide our products directly to the market place at a lower price point than that of a typical retail store. With an online only presence, we are able to keep our overheads low and at the same time still deliver a strong commitment to great customer service and stores like Ebay and keep sellers in particular accountable, which is perfect for the online buyers.

We have chosen manufacturers that supply reputable “brand name” companies, so you are assured of a great quality product, but without the price tag, as we have branded them as our own “Oztreme”. The Archery Section of our store is the first in our product range and we look forward to bringing you other products as they develop.

Oztreme Hunting & Outdoors has enabled me to introduce the world of Hunting and Outdoor Recreation to my son, who has grown up around “Surf and Sand”, so now he is able to experience the best of both worlds. We are constantly keeping “our eye in “ and keeping each other honest with regular target shooting. His mates are now all proud Oztreme Bow owners and loving spending their spare time in this ever expanding and popular recreational past time.
