Osprey House Environment Centre

The unofficial Facebook page for lovers of Osprey House Education and Environment Centre is situated amongst the mangroves of Dohles Rocks in on Pine River, Brisbane, Australia.

With boardwalks which wind through the mangroves at the edges of the North Pine River at Griffin, it is an ideal place to see a variety of native animals, such as the resident Koalas and a variety of local and migratory waders, sea birds, and bush birds.

Osprey House has its own Raptor Nest Pole which is home to a pair of adult Osprey which can be viewed via the mounted web camera above the nest.

Osprey House has established education programs that have been designed to accommodate all year levels and involve a number of different interactive activities. Trained Osprey House volunteers and council education officers present the activities.

Osprey House is open to the public Monday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m. This page is administered by Pip and Pene Grant-Taylor.
