Lawrence and Juliet Lim have been in the restaurant business for over 30 years. It's hard to believe that Oriental Thai Restaurant has been open since 1998 - fifteen years! This is a testament to the passion that this family restaurant holds for easy-going family dining and delicious food.

A firm favourite among South-East Brisbane locals, Oriental Thai Restaurant specialises in Thai food with a healthy dose of Chinese and Malaysian dishes thrown into the mix.

Some interesting facts:
- all our satay sauces are made from scratch using a family recipe that has been handed down over four generations
- our Laksa paste is also made using a traditional recipe, the LONG way, none of that nasty short cut business of the packet variety
- our curry puffs are quite legendary and we have yet to find another restaurant in Brisbane that can rival the fragrance and flavour
