Ora Augmented Healing Clinic

The Ora Clinic provides treatments and therapies for people suffering pain, anxiety and behavioral problems. The clinic uses a number of traditional and recognised treatment methods including counseling, acupuncture and hypnotherapy to help patients. Ora works with other health professionals to facilitate well-being and rapid recovery. Ora is not an alternative treatment facility it should be viewed as an adjunct to conventional medicine and in some circumstances the primary therapy.

Without doubt the greatest healer of all is our own body.
When we cut ourselves our own repair system stems the bleeding and reconnects severed blood vessels. Our own body will grow new skin tissue and within weeks have us looking as though nothing had ever happened. There are times when we can help the process but let’s never forget that we will always be a ‘medical assistant’ to the world’s greatest physician; our own repair system.

Our health is dependent on balance.
Balance is achieved when our physical mental and spiritual (not to be confused with religious) wellbeing is perfectly aligned. We can view this as a ‘connectedness’. Each of these three dimensions is important and when one aspect is attended to at the expense of another then an imbalance will occur. The result is usually a manifestation of physical pain, mental anxiety and unhealthy behaviours.

Many ancient cultures understood this principle extraordinarily well and used this balancing approach with basic medications available to them at the time. However the emphasis in modern medicine has been to focus on the huge advancements in medicines to restore physical health often at the expense of the other two important components of well-being.
Our physical health, is treated separately from our emotional and psychological well-being and our spiritual wellness with tragic consequences.

The result is, we now live in a world of miracle treatments but strangely many people are not well and not happy.
