One Tree Hill is a studio pottery created in1981 by Ric & Judy Pierce in Beechworth Australia. Full time potters for 30 years they are famous for their decorative Tantalizing Teapots and signature copper red glaze. Ric & Judy also create practical platters and bowls that can be used everyday. One Tree Hill’s pottery adds a unique contemporary crafted touch to any home.

One Tree Hill use a glaze on glaze technique that guarantees rich durable colors that you will enjoy for many years. Under the rich glaze the tableware is made from high quality stoneware, a fine clay that is kiln fired to over 1200 degrees to a durable finish that is oven, dishwasher & microwave safe, perfect for daily use.

Ric & Judy use a variety of techniques including the wheel, a slab roller, a hydraulic extruder and a hydraulic press. The small production runs keep quality extremely high and ensure that each hand made piece is truly unique. More…
