On Course Counselling

On Course Counselling is a new business to the Riverland specialising in person to person counselling for a wide range of issues. These include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, the concerns of those with disabilities or health issues and the elderly and their carers.
Qualifications: I have an Associate Degree in Applied Social Science through the Australian College of Applied Psychology majoring in counselling. I have Certificate 3 in Community Services and training in palliative care.
My work history includes aged and disability care. I have extensive experience assisting these people and their families or carers.
I feel that my personal story enables me to empathise with others as I have had my own long term health issues to deal with. This insight means that I understand the importance of developing good relationships with all those delivering your health care. Especially your counsellor!
