Omara Cycles

In 1945 Les O'Mara returned home from the war and opened a cycling shop in Cheltenham. The shop was named Corsair Cycles after the Corsair war plane.
Les and Dot, his life long wife, devoted a huge amount of time and effort into making Corsair Cycles a huge success. Les was a very talented racing cyclist and won many amateur races, he also devoted a lot of time introducing people to the sport.
In 1998 the business was sold to his grandson, Jae, who took over the legacy of the business. The shop was named O'Mara cycles and today the O'Mara cycling tradition continues to live on.
