The Australasian Order of Old Bastards (AOOB) stems from the IOOB founded during WW2 in Sydney by U.S. Servicemen ref. the Aussie greeting of "G'day you Old Bastard". Leo Bradshaw (MBE) and friends formed the AOOB at Glebe, Sydney, raising funds for the now Westmead Childrens Hospital. AOOB is now all over Aust. Leo passed away in 1992 and Joan Bradshaw (OAM) also in 2001 and the AOOB HQ has shifted to Southport
