Okeedokee Norman Park

Okeedokee Early Learning Centre is a purpose built centre, renowned in the Norman Park community for excellence in early childhood care and education. Located centrally, the centre itself offers a contemporary and unique environment, providing an enriching child care experience for our families.

As a private, family owned centre, the licensees strive to create a strong sense of community both within the centre and in reaching out to our wider community.

In addition to our state-of-the-art facilities, we believe our educators are exceptional people who are passionate and caring in delivering excellence in early child care and education.
Guided by the nationally recognised ‘Early Years Learning Framework’ (EYLF) curriculum, we adhere to principles, practice and outcomes leading to being, belonging and becoming, essential to support and enhance young children in their learning and transition to school.

The framework places a strong emphasis on play-based learning and provides the most appropriate stimulus for brain development. It also recognises the importance of communication and language (including early literacy and numeracy) as well as social and emotional development.

We are currently completing the accreditation and assessment process to attain our National Quality Standard (NQS) rating. In completing this process we are emphasising our commitment to adapt, develop and strive to continue to provide excellence in child care and early education exceeding the industry standards.
