What’s Yoni Mapping Therapy?
Yoni Mapping is an integrated therapy modality developed by Bonnie Bliss that involves coaching, talk therapy and bodywork. It’s a gentle and respectful ‘Guided Tour’ of your most intimate and mysterious inner world, with the intention of supporting you to reconnect with your own innate body wisdom.

What does ‘Yoni’ mean?
‘Yoni’ is the Sanskrit word for vagina, meaning ‘sacred space’. The vagina has been honoured and worshipped in many traditional cultures around the world as the birthplace of creation and the keepers of the infinite mystery.

Why is Yoni Mapping Therapy relevant?
In our culture today, we have lost this sense of sacredness and reverence for our Yonis.
Yoni Mapping Therapy is a way back into our feminine power, self-awareness as woman Goddesses, self-love and acceptance.
You should consider Yoni Mapping Therapy if:
• You want to explore another level of self-care and self-nurturing
• You feel disconnected from your vagina, like it’s not part of you
• You don’t quite know your way around your own yoni and want to be guided
through your internal anatomy and discover the different pleasure zones
• You have pelvic tension - more than 50% of women have “Chronic Pelvic
Floor Tension” and almost ALL women have some kind of pelvic tension
• You feel numb during sex and want to feel more sensation internally
• You want to release shame or guilt related to your yoni / sexuality
• You have sexual trauma from rape, abuse, having sex when you didn’t feel
like it, being treated disrespectfully, being penetrated before you were
ready – and it’s affecting your relationship with yourself and others
• You don’t have orgasms or you can only orgasm with a vibrator, or you only have clitoral orgasms, or you don’t have orgasms during penetration
• You feel disconnected to your Yoni but you’re curious to go deeper
• You want to prepare for childbirth by letting go of past trauma stored in
the Yoni and releasing tension to ensure birth is as smooth as possible
• You want to gently reconnect to your Yoni after childbirth because everything feels different now
• You want to heal from a pelvic operation (caesarean / abortion / hysterectomy etc)
• You unexpectedly had a caesarean and might feel disconnected from your vagina
• You’ve had an abortion or a miscarriage and want to heal from that emotionally
• You understand that your Yoni is a sacred space and wants to create a more loving relationship with this part of your being
• You want to get to know yourself as a sexual being
• You want to have an experience of feeling honoured and respected as a
woman.
Or any combination of the above!

So, what actually happens in a Yoni Mapping Session?
Initial Yoni Mapping session is 3 hours long. It may seem a long time but that’s the appropriate time for us to relax and create a safe and comfortable space for the work to happen.

The sessions always involve many different elements, such as: talk therapy, anatomy, sex and yoni related education, heart and pelvic activation through meditation and massage, external and internal vaginal massage and mapping (only if you are comfortable with that).

The whole first hour of the session is done with clothes on. The bodywork only happens if you feel comfortable with it.

By the end of the session there’s time for resting, grounding, integration and sharing.
