AFTER SCHOOL CARE:

Fantastic fun for 7 to 12 year-olds! Operating on the principle of "free play", children choose whether they participate in structured activities or in supervised play. The program is inventive, creative, active, inclusive and varied.

PLAYGROUP:

The emphasis of playgroup is on child-initiated play supervised by a parent or carer in a relaxed and friendly environment. Experienced play leaders set up a wide range of activities to suit the needs of children aged 0-5. Playgroup runs Monday - Thursday 10:0am - 12:30pm during the school term. No bookings necessary, just come along and enjoy the fun!

NORTH SYDNEY MARKET:

Held on the second Saturday of each month in Civic Park, North Sydney. The market has over 120 stalls including bric-a-brac, original art, jewellery, new and second hand clothes and accessories, cds and books, honeys and jams, plenty of food on site and live music.

NORTHSIDE PRODUCE MARKET:

Held on the third Saturday of each month in Civic Park, North Sydney. The market is home to a wide variety of fresh produce including organic meat and vegetables, artisan cheeses, sourdough and spelt breads, fresh pasta, seafood, smallgoods, cider, wine and coffee. At the SMH Good Food Shopping Guide Awards 2011 the Northside Produce Market won the award for Best Market

CHANGEABLE ART:

A dynamic art space open in the North Sydney Community Centre. It works as a public gallery on the second Saturday of each month, a program to give emerging and established artists and designers a place to stage their works/designs. It's also a great place to purchase affordable artworks from highly talented artists. The day includes music and performances in the Civic Park in conjunction with the North Sydney Market.

VENUE HIRE:

The centre is also available for public hire. Ideal for conferences, meetings, events, workshops or children's birthday parties - all at very competitive prices.
