Nolan's Interstate Transport

Nolan’s Interstate Transport’s head office and 4 depots are situated in the Gatton Shire, which is located in the Lockyer Valley of South East Queensland approximately 90 km west of Brisbane.
The shire is neighboured by the city of Toowoomba and the surrounding shires of Crow's Nest, Cambooya, Clifton, Warwick, Laidley and Esk. The town of Gatton (population approximately 6,000) is the largest in population within the shire and serves as the sub-regional centre of the Lockyer Valley.

Nolan's Interstate Transport is now one of the largest family-owned and operated transport businesses in Queensland, and has always had a very high reputation for quality service. The business is well known and also very highly regarded by businesses, community and the transport sectors.

From its humble beginnings back in the early 1900’s to its present expansion, the company now operates approximately 100 vehicles, (prime mover & rigid). These vehicles are a mix of Volvo's and Kenworth.

The main depot which is located in "Brooking Drive, Gatton" includes a large loading/unloading facility, cold room storage, fast cool premises, large workshop area, and administration facility. The company employs 240 local staff who are all exceptionally versed in the business of transporting and distributing general freight and perishables from the Lockyer Valley Region to the various markets throughout Australia.
Nolan's Interstate Transport is totally committed to the quality of service that it provides to our clients. To highlight this, Nolan’s were awarded the award for "Excellence in Road Transport" at the 1995 NATROADS Convention in Queensland.
Nolan’s have met “Industry Accreditation Standards” under the Trucksafe Banner, which is a Road Transport Forum Initiative. We have also achieved accreditation under the “Fatigue Management Program”, which is a Queensland Department of Transport and Australian Trucking Association Initiative.

Nolan's have also achieved HACCP accreditation (Hazard Analysis Of Critical Control Points). We are also very pleased to announce that we were awarded "WorkCover Best Practice Awards" in claims management for Queensland in 1999.
