The organisation’s primary objectives are to build the capacity of the Aboriginal community and individuals of the region.

Established in 1993 NAC is registered as an Australian Public Benevolent Institution and a not for profit organisation. The NAC membership is driven to build the capacity of our community and its objectives are:

To provide relief from poverty, sickness, suffering, destitution, misfortune, distress, and helplessness for all Aboriginal people in the Kimberley region of Western Australia without discrimination and to:

• Provide Services, programmes and undertakings for the relief of unemployment.

• Help and encourage its members to keep and renew their traditional culture.

• Assist in the provision of care and support to Aboriginal people affected by social injustice.
We are here to make a difference to individuals and communities in the Kimberley region in Western Australia.

We have introduced a fee for service business model that will enable us to be more self-sustaining and over time decrease reliance on Government funding by building the capacity and self- sufficiency of indigenous people and communities.
