Hello, my name is Nimai Hedemark.
I am the owner and enthusiastic operator of Nimai Garden Services
I’ve been an avid plantsman and horticulturist
since discovering orchid cultivation while living in
India ten years ago.
I began my horticulture career studying and
working around Sydney’s North Shore and the
Northern Beaches. In 2008 I was chosen as
one of only 12 horticulturists from around the
world to undertake the Kew Diploma (one of the
most sought-after qualifications in Botanical
Horticulture) with the Royal Botanic Gardens at
Kew in England. My three years there allowed me
to work with an incredible group of gardeners...
amongst the world’s largest collection of living
plants — from the rare and unusual to the well
known and loved.
I’ve now settled with my family here in the botanical
paradise that is the Tweed Valley, and really
look forward to sharing my enthusiasm for plants
with you.
