Nightcap Orchards is a thriving family business in the beautiful rolling hills of Dorroughby, Northern New South Wales, producing high quality Macadamia Nuts while also providing backpackers the opportunity to complete their Regional Farm Work with a view to gaining a Second Year Working Holiday Visa (for more information please visit http://www.immi.gov.au/Visas)


A typical working week is Monday - Friday, starting at 8:30-9:00am and finishing up and 5:30-6:00pm.

All food and self-contained accommodation is provided, and a weekly wage of $100 is offered - so there really are no hidden costs or fees.

The only expenses incurred are on social activities, which is never a bad thing!!

The beautiful and friendly Byron Bay is a mere 45minute drive away for much needed beach days after a week on the farm, and for the more convenient trips, the town of Lismore is a 20 minute drive away.

The surrounding country really is a sight to behold. Nightcap is surrounded by lush greenery, and is lucky enough to be close to some truly magically Australian wonders such as Rocky Creek Damn and Minion falls - there is even a waterfall and swimming hole located on the property!
