Ngarang-Wal Gold Coast Aboriginal Association are the traditional owners of the Gold Coast area known as the Kombumerri people. We have a unique dialect comprised of two languages 'Bundjalung-Yugambir'.
Our traditional area stretches from Tweed River up to Coomera River, west to the Hinterland and along to coastal regions.
Ngarang-Wal G.C.A.A Inc. are the traditional custodians of Guanaba Indigenous Protected Area, located in our glorious Hinterland. We use this Protected Area for training, education, environmental conservation and traditional uses.
We teach Indigenous culture, lifestyle, social history and traditions.
We offer in-class visits or field trips to our Indigenous Protected Area located at Guanaba.
