Nepalese Association of Northern Territory Inc

NANT was founded in 2007, as a result of combined effort from community members it has got its full shape and finally was registered as an organization in 2008. It was an outcome of an intense discussion and desire to serve the Nepalese community in a formal and well organized approach through an organization. Its founders felt the need of a Nepalese Community organization that would cater to the needs of new Nepalese immigrants, students and also those who were already residing in the Northern Territory, Australia. That very essentiality became the cause of its birth. Thanks to all the founder members, volunteers, advisers and well-wishers that felt this need during those tough times and has brought forward NANT as one of the emerging communities in the Northern Territory.

Currently NANT is renewing membership for 2013/2014 and encouraging all nepalese residing in NT to become the member of NANT to support and grow our organisation .

Nepalese community in NT is looking forward for an every opportunity to promote cultural ties between Australia and Nepal.

NANT is focused on connecting people by executing community engagement programs such as fund raising, BBQ, events, promotions etc.

NANT also felicitates connecting with other community organisations to enhance relationships and friendliness in this multicultural environment.
