Nebula Drama Byron Bay

Nebula Drama Byron Bay is a new drama school run by Shona Anderson. Shona has been living in Byron Bay for the last twelve months and feels like she's truly found home.

Shona has been officially involved in the performing arts since age 9, when she made her acting debut as Orphan #23 in a community theatre production of "Annie" in 1992. Unofficially, prior to 1992, she roped family members and neighbours into watching her various musical numbers and puppet shows any chance she got.

Shona continued to pursue her love of acting throughout her school career and then through her time at The University of Newcastle where she participated in a number of productions including directing a production of Peter Schaffer's "Equus" for which she was nominated for a City of Newcastle Drama Association award for best director in 2006.

In February 2017 Shona staged her first ever one woman show, "The Rambling Feminist" at The Butterfly Club in Melbourne. Returning to the stage after a long hiatus, reignited the love that Shona has for the stage and stage craft.

It is this experience that has lead her to bring this love to the people of Byron Bay. Nebula Drama Byron Bay will be a place for people of all ages to come play, grow skills, develop confidence and find their own love of the theatre.
