Naturally Montessori

Welcome to “Naturally Montessori”, a nature and natural parenting inspired Family Day Care Service located at New Beith, QLD. My name is Jess and I have a strong passion for working with and for infants, children and families.

The name Naturally Montessori came about because as a parent, I try to make decisions that are as natural as possible; and as a Family Day Care Educator, I believe in treating your little people just as I would treat my own.

I have over 8 years of experience in the Childcare Industry, including 4 years as a Family Day Care Coordinator. I am also a step-mummy, a mummy and have been a host-parent to many exchange students over the years.

I hold a Diploma of Children’s Services (which is above the Certificate III required), and am studying Psychology and Breastfeeding Education. I have a strong focus on Infant, Child and Families health and believe in evidence-based practice and critical thinking. Within my studies, I have developed the ability to evaluate research, which I believe has helped me on my parenting journey, and I hope will help you as well.

I also hold several compulsory and non-compulsory certificates and regularly participate in professional development opportunities to improve myself both professionally and personally.
