Myotherapy at CrossFit121 - Maria Hogan

Maria graduated with an Advanced Dip. Remedial Massage/Myotherapy in 2006. She then went on to further her education and graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science 2010, and a Diploma of Education 2011.

Her initial interest in the field came from her own sporting background in rowing, where she had to overcome many of her own injuries and aches and pains.Myotherapy is Muscle therapy, we use Massage techniques to help overcome aches and pains associated within the muscles in the body, they can range from back pain to headaches and sporting injuries. Maria has developed a special interest and passion for helping relieve patients of tension headaches associated with muscle tightness, as well as preventing their re-occurrence.

Treatments offered: Deep tissue massage, stretching and strengthening techniques, Trigger point therapy, Dry needling, and Cupping.
