Murrindindi Training Institute

MTI partners with CEACA (RTO 3730) to deliver nationally recognised training in Certificate III Outdoor Recreation, Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation and the Diploma of Outdoor Recreation.

Employers from various sectors, local government and adult further education organisations are cooperating to offer courses in Outdoor Leadership, Community Services, and Nursing.

The first school formed is the School of Outdoor Leadership. In 2012 the school began delivering Outdoor Recreation courses that were designed in collaboration with industry partner organisations including the YMCA, The Outdoor Education Outdoor Group, Bindaree, UC Camping and AusCamp. Students continue to graduate from these courses with comprehensive skills, knowledge and experience and are highly sought after by employers.

MTI is governed by Alexandra District Hospital, Central Ranges Local Learning and Employment Network (CRLLEN), Continuing Education and Arts Centre of Alexandra (CEACA) and a number of employers and associations in the Outdoor Education sector of Victoria including, Auscamp, Bindaree, The Outdoor Education Group, Residential Outdoor Schools Association (ROSA), YMCA and Australian Camps Association (ACA).
