Murray Builders

‘Murray Builders’ is a locally owned business operated by a second generation, Roma born carpenter, Daniel Murray. ‘Murray Builders’ commenced two years ago upon retirement of the principals Brian & Elisabeth of ‘BT & EA Murray Builders’, leaving a huge hole in the construction industry in the Maranoa.

Since inception there has been steady growth within ‘Murray Builders’ - Commencing the business from the ground up to dealing with the pressures of timely ordering & delivery of building materials, co-ordinating many sub contractors simultaneously, to ensure all projects run to established time schedule – to achieve an excellent outcome for the client.

Throughout my time as an apprentice & now as a builder, I have experienced job sites in different locations, from metropolitan to rural communities to remote Queensland rural areas.

My time in metropolitan areas renovating old ‘Queenslander’ style homes taught me to often ‘think outside the square’ to keep with the original character of the home and suburbia, to obtain the best possible outcome for the client.

Upon my return to Roma, subcontracting to BT & EA Murray Builders, I gained invaluable experience in the construction of new homes. Being involved with my parents in all facets - from the initial meeting with prospective clients right through to ‘completion hand over’ has been of great benefit to me.

During my time back in Roma, I witnessed the devastating effect of the 3 flood events on local residents. In my capacity as overseer to BT & EA Murray Builders at that time, I liaised with multiple clients & subcontractors simultaneously, to achieve the most positive outcomes possible for residents to return to their homes.

The experience I gained from the above combinations has, I believe, made me a very capable tradesman, willing to participate in any role to achieve satisfactory outcomes for all concerned.
