Murphy's Wine Bar

Murphy’s Wine Bar is owned and run by Garth Bray, who always enjoyed a drink after work and simultaneously found the Glen Iris dry area to be a curiosity.
Combining the maxim “if it is to be, it is up to me” with his background in getting things done, it became just a matter of time before Garth would solve the dry area problem suffered by many residents and workers of the area. With interests in wines and craft beers, Garth enjoys finding the right drink for the occasion and conditions.
Garth is also passionate about our great city with all its culture and live performances, following Hawthorn in the football, snowboarding and trying out new things. Travel is another of Garth’s joys and he hopes to bring a little from each of the many places he has visited to Camberwell, while retaining a distinctly Melbourne feel.
With relevant permits being obtained, Murphy's Wine Bar is planning to serve first drinks late in 2016.
