From humble beginnings, Mudkrabba Pty Ltd Est. in 2008, Vu Van Nguyen & Viviana Nguyen live the banks of the of the Roper River and work up to 14 hours a day on the rough seas fo 9 months of the year for the elusive catch.

Mainly Wholesaling direct to the Melbourne & Sydney Fish Markets, his catch ends up on the fork of Australians Nation-Wide.

The couple who both immigrated as refugees to Darwin the 70's with Vu from Vietnam and Viviana from Chile. They have 3 children and at last count 8 Grand Children.

Vu has been Mud Crabbing the Territory with his brothers for over 30 years. From Borroloola to mouth of the Roper River and out into the Gulf of Carpentaria.

Vu has used his knowledge of the sea and land to catch the famous Northern Territory Mudcrab and has worked with the NT Government with by collecting data for research to ensure the longevity of the produce for all.
