After 10 years of absence from the South-Midlands Cricket Association the Muchea Senior Cricket Club was restarted in the 2008/09 season.
Since it's revival, the cricket club and it's facilities have undergone comprehensive changes. The cricket nets have been completely refurbished and the club now owns a bowling machine. The clubroom side of the oval has been fenced by a limestone wall and the oval is now surrounded by four large light pillars, allowing for night games!
There has also been a brand new clubroom built overlooking the oval complete with a bar and 60" plasma. This was a 2 year effort that was made possible by the teamwork of the Chittering Junior Football Club and the Muchea Senior Cricket Club.
