My name is Natasha. I am a Physiotherapist who has experienced severe pelvic girdle pain during my first pregnancy. This was so severe that I relied very heavily on a walking stick through-out the pregnancy, was in a wheelchair for part of it, and certainly had to give up my job far earlier than I had otherwise planned.

This experience has spurred me on to finding out what can be done about pregnancy related back and pelvic pain (and by extension, during the postpartum).

Back and pelvic pain is definitely not normal during or after pregnancy. It is a sign of a dysfunction, which, by the way, can almost always be much relieved, and often be fixed completely.

I am passionate about providing a holistic, comprehensive service, that addresses all the root causes of your problem. I love to empower my patients to learn more about their bodies, know exactly how to avoid flaring up their pain, and what to do if the pain becomes worse in between treatments.

My treatments usually include a lot of mind-body awareness training, massage, joint mobilisations/realignment, postural assessment and core strengthening, and of course, education.

To make sure I keep up with the latest treatment techniques from the world's best professionals, I do a great deal of continuing education.

I have lived in the area for 16 years, moving here for my Physiotherapy course, at CSU. Most of my professional life has been in private Physiotherapy clinics, as well as some work in aged care and in the hospitals.
