Mother Nurture Blessingways

A Blessingway, or Mother Blessing, is a refreshing alternative to the commercialised "Baby Shower." Instead of giving gifts for baby, the focus is shifted back to Mumma and aims to create a safe space for her to really connect with those she loves as her pregnancy journey nears it's end. The concept was inspired by the Native American Navajo ceremony signifying a woman's rite of passage into Motherhood, and has been respectfully adapted to acknowledge all beliefs and non-beliefs.

At Mother Nurture Blessingways, we believe Motherhood is the most transformative time in a woman's life, and feeling safe, supported, empowered, connected and loved is so important for expectant Mothers, a healthy pregnancy and a birth without fear.

Many women want to celebrate their pregnancy but don't want to burden their friends or family with planning something special, let alone something that they may not be familiar with, or that may challenge their comfort zone. Luckily, we take the hassle and stress out of the equation, offering specialised packages to suit Mumma's needs, and allowing her and her honoured guests the opportunity to be present and enjoy the experience together. We guide our circle of sisters through small ceremony-type activities that allow them to truly connect with Mumma and baby, leaving us all feeling warm and fuzzy, with beautiful memories to last Mumma a lifetime
