Mossgreen is a luxury destination to buy, sell and enjoy objects of beauty, rarity and value.

Founded in 2004, by Paul Sumner and Amanda Swanson, Mossgreen is Australia’s first combined Auction House and Art Gallery – a unique business specialising in the auction of single-owner collections and the promotion and exhibition of a select group of contemporary Australian artists.

In 2013, after nine successful years, Mossgreen merged with Charles Leski, underwent significant expansion and is now Australia’s leading multi-department auction house, offering expertise and auctions in Australian History, Australian Indigenous Art, Chinese & Asian Art, Coins & Banknotes, Collectors Cars, Motorcycles & Automobilia, Fine Australian & International Art, Interior Decorator, International Decorative Arts, Jewels, Watches & Luxury Accessories, Oceanic & Tribal Art, Single-Owner Collections, Sporting Memorabilia, Stamps & Postal History and Fine Wine.

Mossgreen Gallery has supported the careers of a select group of mid-career and senior Australian and international artists since 2004. In that time, we have developed long-standing relationships with our artists and we work closely with each of them to present retrospective exhibitions that celebrate their work and their achievements.

In 2016 Mossgreen opened a new auction and gallery premise in Queen Street, Woollahra, acquired a long-established Auckland auction house Webb’s and united with Fehily Contemporary to increase our offerings to collectors.

Fehily Contemporary is an art gallery committed to developing the primary art market and to the careers of contemporary artists in Australia.

Mossgreen Tearooms, in partnership with Peter Rowland Catering, are open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch, and offers one of the finest high tea experiences in Melbourne.
