Moree Real Estate is Moree’s only real “local” estate agency. It commenced in 1999 with 3 people, and now has 9 full time staff members.

We offer a complete real estate service and the best advice on any matter relating to buying, selling, renting, clearing sales or valuing real estate. The services provided cover every facet of the real estate industry as well as offering specific specialised services such as irrigation, water sales, valuations, and Cargill Cotton Agents. This gives our business a well rounded approach to all our client’s needs.

Moree’s climate and soils have caused it to be referred to as the richest agricultural shire, with a vast variety of agricultural products produced from the valley. Moree is best known for it’s dryland crops of wheat, barley and sorghum and irrigated cotton which, when combined, generate a huge income for the Shire’s economy. Due to the first class soil types and unique climate, a crop can be sown basically at any time of the year allowing enormous diversity for our economy.

The most important developments at present are the completion of the Moree Bypass for the Newell Highway and the development of the inland rail link, which will both help the town grow. Currently Moree has a population of approximately 10,000, a Shire population of approximately 15,364 and covers an area of 17,582 square kilometres.

Our company is rural based however, we also have a strong presence in the in town market and now have by far the largest number of staff. Our business grows continually.

Moree Real Estate is unique in many aspects as we are strong in all fields, whether it be town sales and rentals, valuations, or rural sales and leasing. We definitely have a high presence in each field. We continue to add to our business with our latest addition being the Cargill Cotton Agency which allows us to purchase cotton for Cargill Cotton’s Australian operation.
