Moore TALK

mooreTALK was developed after I decided there was a greater need to link education with speech therapy in order to holistically address the development of children, ensuring they have adequate communication skills to succeed.

I am a qualified speech therapist and teacher (primary/secondary) currently working at Novita Children's Services part-time and in private practice for children aged 18months-18years old. I am also relief teaching in order to remain connected to the education system in order to continue to nurture and support the learning of all children seen at mooreTALK.

I graduated from a Physical Health & Education degree in 2011 and from there decided that I would use my passion of working 1:1 and in small groups to complete a Masters of Speech Pathology. I was lucky enough to gain a position working with adults at The Alfred & Caulfield Hospital's (Victoria) where I gained competency in assessing and managing a range of communication, cognitive and swallowing difficulties. I have completed locum positions at Eastern Health (Victoria), and more recently Flinders Medical Centre.

I have since returned to my passion of working with children in the community and have been working closely with other childcare workers and health professionals such as Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists and Social Workers to support the development of children with additional needs.
