Moore River Retreat

We designed our beach house with comfort, ease and families in mind. Nan and Pop, the grown-up kids and the grandkids will all fit nicely.

We enjoy fabulous river and bushland views over the river from the top floor.

It's only a short stroll to the river and the beach.

4 luxury queen bedrooms and 6 bunk beds with super comfy mattresses suitable for adults and children in a big bunkroom
Electric Blankets on the queen beds in winter and cosy goose down quilts
Built in storage space in all the bedrooms (the master bedroom has a walk-in-robe)
Ceiling fans and reading lights
Blockout window treatments

BATHROOMS:

2 bathrooms downstairs with 1m shower cubicles and rain shower heads
1 ensuite bathroom upstairs with toilet
1 separate toilet upstairs with powder room and 1 downstairs

KITCHEN:

Gorgeous well equipped kitchen with a large stone bench
Bar stools so you can watch the cook prepare your meal while you sip a cool drink
Reverse osmosis filtered water
Big 90cm SMEG oven and gas cooktop, french 2 door fridge, large freezer
Nespresso coffee pod machine
Coffee Grinder and Coffee plunger
Dishwasher/ microwave

LIVING:

Extending dining table able to seat 14 people
Uber comfy couches
Flat screen TV with USB port and DVD player
Blue tooth sound system, speakers in the ceiling and on the outside decks
Reverse cycle air-conditioning and ceiling fans
Book shelves stacked with books and games

DECKS:

2 upstairs with amazing views, one facing the river and the other catching the winter sun with a Weber Spirit BBQ
Big teak tables on each of the upper decks
Twinkly lights
1 large downstairs deck with hammocks overlooking the garden
Hammock hooks and lots of hammocks to laze around on

GARDENS:

Newly planted featuring fruit trees, herbs and natives to attract the birds, garden paths
Outside shower plumbed with hot water

SAFETY FEATURES:

Fire blanket in the kitchen
Fire extinguisher under the stairs
First-aid kit under the stairs
Smoke detectors on both floor levels

WHAT WE PROVIDE:

Hand towels, bath mats, tea towels
Hand soap
Cleaning products (dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent etc)
Basic food items like salt and pepper
Paper towels, cling wrap, bin liners
Toilet paper
High chair

WHAT TO BRING:

All your bed linen, pillow cases, bath and beach towels
All your food and drink as the shopping in Guilderton is limited
Soft inside shoes

HOUSE IS SUITABLE FOR:

NOT suitable for events/parties, unsupervised young people, drunkedness

HOUSE RULES:

No outside shoes in the house
Look after the house as if it were yours
Leave the house as tidy as you found it
Dishes washed and put away when you leave (including the dishwasher)
BBQ to be left clean and ready for the next guests ($50 fee for cleaning the BBQ)
Bins emptied and put in council bin ready for collection
Couches, tables and beds should not be moved
Other furniture to be returned as you found it
NO SMOKING
NO PETS
NO LOUD MUSIC - Respect our neighbour's right to a peaceful quiet life
NO PARTIES / EVENTS
No children under 6 years on the top bunk beds
