Monto Dairy Festival

On the middle weekend of the September school holidays, Monto will host the Monto Dairy Festival, the only Dairy Festival in the Southern Hemisphere.
So why not take a drive to the country and enjoy our hospitality and a festival that is unique to Monto, Queensland and Australia.
There is something for everyone with a street procession, Festival Ambassadors, racing lawnmowers, fireworks, local farmers market stalls, cheese making, side show rides for the kids, bands and entertainment, the festivals own "Kurdel Inn", "Curds & Whey Wine and Cheese Marquee", the "Holy Cow Café", plus lots lots more.
