Monash Modern Jazz

Inaugurated in October 2010, Monash Modern Jazz is a fresh addition to Monash Caulfield’s Art Scene. Deciding that there’s no better way to communicate over national, cultural or language barriers than a throwdown on the floor, Amateur B-Boy Heng Bin Teo and childhood ballerina Jalene Cheah started Monash Modern Jazz as a home for all dancers in Monash Caulfield. No matter if it’s hip-hop, contemporary, K-pop, Latin or Reggae, or whether you’re a total newbie or a seasoned pro, we believe everyone’s got a tip or technique to share with the rest and groove through their feet.

We also provide dance classes to all levels of dancers across the week from week 1 to week 9 (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 3-5pm ; Friday 3-7pm). We currently hold Jazz, Hip-hop, Urban, K-pop, Latin and popping, and we will have more genre in the future! For joining the classes, all you need to do is to come to the Aerobics room to find us during our classes with your dance class passes.

Our semester pass is currently $60 with which you can join every single classes within the semester. Alternatively we also provide 30x pass ($40) with which you can attend for 30 classes.
