Molesworth Recreation Reserve and Caravan Park

Welcome to Molesworth Recreation Reserve Caravan and Camping Park, the reserve is located in the township of Molesworth in the Shire of Murrindindi on the banks of the Goulburn River. the reserve is on crown land under the control of the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning and is managed by the Molesworth reserve committee of management.

The committee members are all volunteers and are elected at a general meeting held every three years, the committee positions are chairperson, secretary, treasurer and up to six other committee members.

The reserve has live in caretakers who manage the day to day running and maintenance and beauty of the reserve.

Shower and Toilet block, laundry room with coin operated washing machines and drier, the laundry also has a book exchange library.

There are no permanent residents permitted at the reserve and site holders have to sign a site agreement every twelve months. if you are interested in purchasing an onsite van as they become available give your details to the caretakers and they will add you to a waiting list.

The reserve is dog friendly but rules below regarding pets must be observed, camp fires are also welcome but must be contained within a designated fire-pit , fires are not permitted on days of total fire ban or when the caretakers deem it to dangerous to have fires within the reserve.

There is also free undercover electric BBQ's, tables and seating located behind the pavilion, in the rear of the pavilion is a camp kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator, kettle and dining table and chairs which is available for all campers to use free of charge and within the pavilion is an area with some entertainment for all including satellite television, use of the television is only with permission of the caretakers
