My whole life I have been lucky enough to grow up on a farm. What made my farm life even better was having the opportunity to have horses (from birth), and being able to ride at home and compete them!
With my mum’s side of the family heavily into horses there was always a pull to ride with my cousins and head to events that they would also be at. With growing up society pushes you in the direction to finish school, go to university or get a good paying job. I have given that a fair go since leaving school getting a job and even going back to university as a mature aged student; but I always had this internal drive that pulled me back to the farm and my horses.
SO HERE I AM – starting my very own retraining & coaching business, I am incorporating my two biggest passions; horses and helping others to improve (coaching).
I have informally retrained a few OTT TBs over the my life and have competed successfully with them. Now I want to do it on a bigger scale and help find as many ponies and horses a home and help new owners have the confidence to deal with their quirks.
I have also been coaching for the last two years and have loved seeing my students improve each time and hearing the feedback they are getting from others about how much they have improved and how lovely their riding is!
