Protecting lives and property.
Mirboo North Fire Brigade members are volunteers in our community.
Our station is open during training and on demand. Training is on Thursday nights from 19:30. We are often open on Sunday mornings from 09:30.
Brigade members are trained to respond to bush fires, house and building fires, car and other vehicle files, rescue people trapped in vehicle crashes and using ropes to rescue people from down steep slopes.
Although mainly SES units rescue people trapped in cars after a vehicle crash, some brigades, like Mirboo North, also do this task.
As unpaid volunteers we are proud and passionate to provide a professional service to our community.
You are welcome to drop in to ask questions. We will be pleased to assist. We are located at 2 Grand Ridge Road on the corner of Burchell Lane.
Thinking of joining? New members are always welcome.
