Miniature Trains Mackay

Looking for something different to do in Mackay?
Head down to Ooralea’s Muller Park (take a right at the Ooralea roundabout just past Woolworths). Bring the family and come and ride a 5 inch gauge miniature train.

We are the Mackay Society of Model Engineers. We operate miniature trains on the first Sunday of every month and Wednesday of School Holidays from 10am to 2pm (except Christmas and January School Holidays).

We have available for use a large park for bringing your picnic lunches, cold drinks store for those hot days and a friendly bunch of members ready to bring some enjoyment to your day.

All we ask is for a gold coin donation per ride and that all Passengers wear ENCLOSED SHOES TO RIDE.
Bookings can be made for private functions for a small fee such as Birthday Parties, Christmas functions or just a get together with friends. Bookings can be made through:
